Home: Minehead, Parkside and Us

Parkside Holiday Flats is us, really, Laurie and Maurice.  We own and operate a beautiful Victorian townhouse in Minehead, Somerset on the West Somerset coast. It comprises five flats that are comfortable and welcoming, with fully-equipped kitchens and views that will relax and possibly even enchant you.  Most of our bookings are for a week, Saturday to Saturday, but we also provide for shorter stays, especially in the off-peak seasons.  We love Minehead and think Exmoor is fairly close to heaven on earth.  Just in case you were wondering!

You can contact us on parksideminehead@gmail.com or find out more about our flats, prices and availability at www.parksideminehead.com –  there; that’s the advertising done!

minehead beach

Minehead’s seafront and beach look across the  Bristol Channel to South Wales. Parkside is about a two-minute walk from that view.  The building nestles at the foot of North Hill, the “mynodd” or mountain from which Minehead gets its name, and faces Blenheim Gardens, a beautiful, quiet green space in the centre of Minehead.  If you walk out our door towards the north and west, you will pass the harbour and the start of the South West Coast Path on your way up North Hill amongst the trees.  In 10 minutes walking it will be had to believe you were in a town.  If you walk out our door the other direction, two minutes takes you onto the high street with all its amenities, amongst which we boast a top-class whole foods shop and cafe.

We hope you will come and stay with us, of course.  But even if you don’t we hope you will enjoy finding our about the area and what is happening in and around Minehead each week.  You can also find Parkside Holiday Flats on Facebook, twitter  and Pinterest, or on our website at parksideminehead.com – welcome.
